Day Twenty Nine

This is written a day late as we went out drinking in town in the evening, more later...

We got up did some house stuff, watched a bit of telly ( I bought a cheap aeriel on Friday so can now get terrestrial telly). We then got ready and went to the football. We walked form Glebe to Central station, took about 25 minutes, it was good exercise and better than taking the tram. We then hopped on a bus and and went to SCG.

We watched the Sydney Swans get beaten by Essendon and had the highlight of watching Barry Hall being paraded around the ground at half time. This wont mean much to the UK reader but it was Barry's farewell after quitting in the week.

We met up with the others and went to a pub in Paddington to celebrate Emma's birthday, we ended up staying in there form 5.30 to just before midnight when we hopped in a cab home. Had a few too many Vodkas to be fair!
