Day One Thousand One Hundred and One

Sunday 17th June

One last early start. Drove to the finish for 7am to see last team come across. As I drove there checked in with event control who said there were three teams left out there. The last two teams came in together.

Once they had left the site we tore the place down, a bit of a logistical puzzle as site is closed once crane for gantry comes in, as such I fast tracked all the other suppliers (waste, marquees, generators and lighting) and got them clear before we lost the site to the crane truck.

Headed back to Kennards at about midday and coordinated the unloading of 2 trucks and 3 vans. then ended up going to the petrol station 3 times to refill hire vans etc. Finally back to the office and then a quick drink at kerbside round the corner and home.

Quick skype call with folks and crashed at about 9pm.
