Day Ninety

Another day at home, we walked to the local post office to send a few bits and pieces off to UK, it was a nice walk, weather seems to be picking up and they are predicting 29-30 degrees at the weekend, might have to hit the beach.

We spent afternoon doing a few housey things, nothing very exciting, I attacked our 'front garden' well the 4ft of weeds mainly and hacked it back a bit. I was quite brave I think, who knows what could have been lurking in there in the way of spiders, snakes, sharks, crocs etc.

We went to the Rose for the quiz night, was good fun and we came second, another 50 dollars behind the bar as a result.

Not much happening here in Aus news wise, although that dodgy DJ (read earlier posts) has been suspended again for making jokes about concentration camps on air.

Oh and in shocking headline news on the telly Scooby is rescued
