A busy day sorting out our spare room. We have people staying in a few weeks time so we have been getting it ready. Did mean lots of time trawling round Freedom both at Broadway and Moore Park (freedoms equivalent in uk would be habitat). Got most things we need, put up new blind and cleared out all our junk form room. It's looking quite good now.
Had a skype call with folks, not long til we see them now.
Went to Bill and Carols for dinner, cracking roast chicken. Watched a load of recorded TV and wondered home at midnight.
Strong stench of smoke in Sydney in the air, they are back burning ahead of the bush fire season, things you never think about in Blighty, but regular activities here.
Oh and found a massive dead spider in the spare room, a huntsman - apparently harmless but bloody huge all the same.
