We got up and Bill dropped us into the city. We went to Ripples at South Wharf to help Paul celebrate his 30th Birthday. Paul is another Pom, freshly arrived to start life here down under. He is the other half of Pru (one of our Bridesmaids). It's good to have him down under. The surprise went off well and we were honorary Engels for the day.
After a superb lunch we all jumped on the ferry and headed to Circular Quay and spent all afternoon and much of the evening at the Cruise Bar (opposite the Opera House) WE grabbed a taxi home at about 8.30.
