Day One Thousand and Eight

Friday

Dropped the signed lease back to the manager at new place first thing and then dropped Kate at work. Usual day of work and then after a number of missed calls and messages between me and the manager at new flats found that he had left our keys behind a plant pot near his office.

Picked Kate up and we walked to new place and tailgated someone into the building complex and found our keys. We spent some time measuring it up and planning how we will lay it out when we move in just over a weeks time. It's a bit smaller than our current place especially the bedroom and it also has some hideous light fittings we'll learn to live with for 6 months. Will add some photos in next few days.

We finished up and had dinner and drinks at the London Club, not 2 ft from the front door of the main building.
